Assymetrical Balance
-(horizontal) The unbalanced or different postures at the waistline.
-(vertical) The men both have the same form with poking out stomachs but, different sweaters.

Emphasis
-This artist creates emphasis through isolation. The red circle seems isolated from all of the green.
-The red dot is the first thing that catches the eye.
-The next thing that catches the eye is the color green. The large area of light green stands out more that the darker area of green.
Repetition
-The two elements color and shape are present here. There is a colorful face inside a colorful square repeated 9 times.
Contrast
(yellow) One side of the face has no eye and is dark as you would imagine. The side with the eye is white or light.
Visual Movement
(blue)when you first see the stairs you think of a person starting to walk down them
(yellow)you notice there is a long break before each floor
(red)then there is more stairs which would be the point most people decide to take the elevator.
(white)the end of the stairs or final destination
Scale and Proportion
-The image of a smiley face represents a mood of happiness. The large face stands out like there is alot of happiness present. The small face suggests there is still happiness but not as much.
